Vintage 1970s Boxed Mouli-Grater with Yellow Plastic Handle.This vintage hand held grater dates to around the 1970s and is made the French manufactureres Moulinex.This a smashing vintage gadget that you can still used today to grate all types of food,this fab grater would look great to compliment your vintage kitchen or to add to your vintage kitchenalia collection. This vintage grater was patented January 27, 1942 by Jean Mantelet and called a portable rotary grater. The Mouli gadgets were innovative machines of their time. Now vintage relics, obsolete but still efficient and well made. A clever operation, it folds open so that you can insert the grater with handle and the vintage Mouli grater can be used left or right handed.This nicely marked Mouli Grater, has a patent date on one side and Mouli Grater - Made in France - written on the front,it has yellow plastic handle that turns to operate. The US patent date is 2.271.175 and other Pats.Pending is written on one side and a Mouli product is written on the other side. When the vintage grater is opened the approximate measurements are length is 14.5 ins (37 cms) and folded it measures 7.5 ins (19.cms).This collectable Vintage Mouli Grater comes in it's original box does show useage,three discs are missing,the Mouli Grater is ready to use,requires no electricity so very green,comes complete with original instructions, very nice condition.
