Vintage 1960 Pair Johnson Brothers Pink Blarney Castle Old Britain Castles Dinner Plates.These are a lovely pair of pink and white china dinner plates dating to around the 1960s.These charming fluted rimmed plates are manufactured by Johnson Brothers and are from their Old Britain range and these particular vintage china plates are in the Blarney Castle pattern which apparently depicts Blarney Castle in 1792.Since that drawing was done , Blarney is now in Eire and therefore no part of Britain.Each elegant vintage plate measures approximately 10 ins (2.25 cms) diameter, on there base there are two appointment base marks,one to our present Queen Elizabeth 11 and one to the late Queen Mother,also written on the base is:acid resisting, dishwasher safe.These stunning pair of vintage pink plates would look perfect in your vintage home on display or to add to your collection of pink and white vintage china.These pair of collectable vintage plates show there are some nibbles on the base,possibly when they were removed from the kiln,ready to use or display,very nice condition
