Do you buy China / Flatware / Costume Jewellery / Glass etc?
Not at the moment – all our current stock you will find on our website. However we are continually adding fresh stock so add us to your favourites.
I don't have a PayPal or Google Checkout account can I pay by cheque?
Yes you can. The payment by cheque can only be only from a UK bank. Please ensure your name address and order number are included on the back of the cheque. Cheques drawn on a UK bank, should be made payable to “P Maggs”.
We allow 5 working days for the cheque to clear then your item/items will be posted to you.
Does the price include shipping?
The price for shipping is Free anywhere in the UK. Unfortunately we do have to charge buyers abroad. The shipping cost is determined to where the item/items are being shipped to and we only charge for the postage and packaging. All our items are packed by experienced packers and shipped via Royal Mail Post, sent Economy Class and with proof of postage.
Does your website support international orders?
Our UK site currently delivers to the UK, Europe, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other destinations. Please contact us if you would like clarification on where we are able to deliver to. We ship via Royal Mail or for larger items Parcel2Go.com.
How do I know what your shipping fees are for abroad?
You will see a “Shipping” sign written on the page when you click to order your item - opposite it is written “Please Select Details” click on the arrow and a drop down form will show "Free Shipping UK, Europe and Rest of the World". Click on what area applies to you and this will show the shipping fee which includes packaging and will be added on at the checkout if it is not free. Buyers from abroad if you are buying several items, contact us for combined shipping quote and save money.
How do I know if my credit card number is secured?
We have ensured that our shopping cart is a secure/locked site. As payments are made by PayPal or Google Checkout we do not have records of your credit/debit card so that you can buy online with confidence. Cheques are welcome from buyers from the UK (made payable to P Maggs) and when funds are cleared – usually around 5 days – your purchase will then be sent.
What happens if I am having a problem purchasing on your website?

Can I claim VAT/Tax back?
We are not VAT rated so no.
Can you deliver to a different address?
Yes, when you place your order you can leave instructions for a different address together with any message to be included with your order. Also you can leave a message for delivery instructions such as to leave your parcel in your porch if not in.
What if my order is damaged?

Do you offer a sourcing service for replacement china?
No.
