Antique 1880s Silver Plate Salt Spoon.This a superb antique salt spoon dates around 1880s.This lovely vintage EPNS (elector plated nickel silver) salt spoon was manufactured by Wilson and Davis,the salt spoon is stamped with the maker's mark 'W & D' above 'S' on the reverse of the stem. The company would mark their goods with either an 'L' or 'S' depending on whether it was made in London or Sheffield,Wilson & Davis registered with Sheffield Assay Office in 1871, but by 1882 had gone out of business.This fine antique salt spoon, which measures approximately 5 ins (12.5 cms) long, would look gorgeous on show in your antique display cupboard or to add to your vintage collections of silver plate spoons.This excellent antique spoon would make a lovely gift or heirloom,is in very good condition.
